I was worried silicone would feel too soft, but this thing actually lands with a real thwack. The weight behind it is what surprised me most, way more solid than my old wooden one.
The silicone has a nice firm flex that actually carries the sting through instead of absorbing it like my old leather one. Wipes clean in seconds too, which matters way more than I expected. Genuinely impressed.
Wasn't sure silicone would have enough sting, but this thing lands with way more bite than I expected. The surface stays smooth so it never drags, and cleanup takes about ten seconds. Genuinely the best addition to my collection this year.
